Tell me why 3 jerks makes me more tired than 3 snatches! Stayed around 75% for my snatches. Tried focusing on driving through my heels and not being toey. High hang is my worst position, so I was happy with how these felt! Worked up to 87% for my clean complex. Really happy with how my cleans have been going, just gotta get the jerk to catch up! Gotta drive my front foot forward a touch more... working on it! ••• All in all yesterday was a good day! Got to wear my new rain boots and hit 2 front squat PRs. 215# for 2 and 220# for 1 (failed the second rep) and completed 60 c2b pull-ups while maintaining sets of 3! Also got a llama mug!!! (Check my story!) Last night I got home from coaching and the boys had ordered pizza. It was from my favorite place and looked oh so good! I deserved the pizza. I hit this snatch PR earlier in the week and it was the end of my semester of grad school. I’m owed some pizza damn it!! BUT I didn’t NEED the pizza. I had just gotten my meals from @built_without_guilt (which is all cauliflower pizza by the way)and I knew that pizza last night wouldn’t get me any closer to my goals.
